Life has a funny way of putting things into perspective, doesn't it? For Claire Vaines, a heart scare just over a year ago became the wake-up call that transformed not only her outlook on life but her entire career path.
"I always thought we all have an infinite amount of time," Claire reflects, "until I had that heart scare and realised how important it is to have your wishes and plans in place."
With over 30 years of corporate experience in the Motor Industry behind her, Claire brings a wealth of professional expertise to her role as a Life Is Too Short advisor. But it's her personal journey – surviving a heart attack and emerging as what she calls a "serial positivity promoter" – that truly sets her apart.
As a mother of two grown-up sons, partner to Rob and devoted companion to Daisy, her wire-haired dachshund, Claire understands the deep love we have for our families and the fierce desire to protect them. Her own brush with mortality has given her a unique perspective on the importance of estate planning – not as a morbid necessity, but as the ultimate act of love and care.
